The Point Roberts-Tsawwassen border crossing is simply done with sufficient identification. As of June 1st 2009, new regulations for crossing the borders are as follows:

Accepted identification for Canadian Citizens:

• Government of Canada issued Passport
• A valid trusted traveler program card (NEXUS, FAST, or SENTRI)
• Enhanced Drivers License

Accepted identification for US Citizens:

• US Government issued Passport or Passport Card
• A valid trusted traveler program card (NEXUS, FAST, or SENTRI)
• Enhanced Drivers License
• US Military ID with official travel orders
• US Merchant Mariner document
